Diwali was always meant to feel like home, so we found one. For one evening, a 140-year-old house in one of Bangalore's oldest neighbourhoods turns into nani ka ghar, with haldi-yellow walls, red-oxide floors, stone pillars, blue wooden doors, and plenty of diyas and marigolds.
