fight club round table : men and childhood
About the event
childhood is the first place most men learn what it's like to be a man and how to socialize long before they had a say in it. the things they were told, and the rules picked up from society about how to be a man, that they still carry into their relationships, work and everywhere else.
in this round table conversation, we will be talking about how what men learned in childhood still shows up in their adult life. there are no right or wrong answers. it's just a space to explore this.
how it goes:
we start by setting the intention for our conversation. then we dive into the conversation on men and childhood, and everyone shares whatever they feel like. if you don't feel like sharing, that's also fine.
what you get:
safe space to talk with other men about the childhood you're all carrying, in a setting that's different from your regular conversations with other men, and maybe to make some new friends along the way.
this is a conversation among men who show up, not a professional session or therapy.
men only.
12 seats.
what happens in fight club stays in fight club, and we take care of your privacy. when we are capturing content, if you are not comfortable, please inform us beforehand and we will take care of it.
