This is that space.

Learn and Play is a series we are starting at The Terrace Soirée for exactly this reason. We want to encourage more women to play strategy games, board games, and card games, but the right way. No pressure. No judgment. No feeling silly for asking basic questions.

We are starting with poker, one of the most misunderstood and underplayed games among women, and we are teaching it from scratch. By Diwali, the goal is simple. You walk into any room, sit at any poker table, and you know exactly what you are doing.

Our moderators will teach you the rules, the hands, the strategy, and then we play together. Everyone learns at their own pace.

This is a community, not a competition.
