Anish is a decorated Bengaluru-based chef, avid biker and culinary explorer with a deep curiosity for the food cultures of India.

His love for food extends beyond the kitchen. He often takes to the open road, riding across different regions in search of authentic flavours, local traditions and the stories behind them. Along the way, he meets home cooks, local communities and fellow food enthusiasts, learning the techniques and traditions that make each region unique.

His professional journey includes stints at some of India's most respected hospitality properties, including Taj, ITC and Hilton, where he developed his expertise across Indian and global cuisines. Today, he is the Head Chef at Subko

But it is regional food and lesser-known culinary traditions that continue to inspire him most. Whether it is a humble home-cooked meal or a dish perfected over generations, Anish looks for the people, places and stories behind the food.

His travels through Karnataka became the inspiration for his book, Taste of Tradition: Exploring Karnataka Cuisine in 20 Dishes, a reflection of his passion for discovering, preserving and sharing the diverse culinary traditions of the state.
