There are no rows of chairs, long talks or fixed ways to participate.

Come for a workshop. Make some art. Join a conversation. Meet new people. Play. Explore. Or simply sit back and take it all in.

Each zone gives you a different way to explore ideas, try things out, meet people and discover new possibilities.Music, movement, ritual and play run through the Festival, connecting the different spaces and bringing the day to life.

ABOUT PROJECT DEFY

Project DEFY builds alternatives to conventional education.

For the last 10 years, we’ve been creating spaces where people learn through curiosity, self-designed projects, experimentation and each other.

The Festival of Defiance brings that spirit together for one day, a space to experience what it feels like to learn, create and connect differently.

However you want.Join a workshop, make something, meet people, have conversations, explore the zones, play or simply observe.There is no single way to experience the Festival.

What about food?

Bangalore Creative Circus has a café where you can purchase food and drinks during the Festival.

Do I need to attend everything?

Not at all.You can move between different spaces and activities at your own pace. Choose what catches your attention and make your own way through the day.
