Topic to Brew: Will marriage remain relevant
Marriages, long term relationships are changing. Over the next decade fewer of us will marry compared to today. Many of us will be disillusioned about marriage as we see their friends or loved ones divorcing. Live in relationships will increase sharply. But what will be the difference in the way we fulfil long term needs? How will family structures change? Should people actually learn the skill of how to hold stable relationships in today's fast paced, instant gratification world?
What do you think?
We'd love to hear your thoughts at Brew A View.
Join us for Brew A View: Curious Conversations on Psychology and Life. Come, share, question, express, and connect over a hot cuppa. No lectures or presentations, just real conversations, held by psychologists from Utsmaya, with Mamtha Rajesh (26 years as a psychotherapist and breathwork therapist) stepping in when the conversation needs to go deeper.
We were told marriage is the only way to 'settle' - a milestone that makes a relationship real. For some, that still holds. But plenty of people are questioning whether that's still true, or whether it ever was. Will marriage remain relevant? Come find out what others think and share what you think too.
