Nāda Brahma, sound is the divine

It's the philosophy Dhenuka Mahesh builds her music around, and this Saturday she brings it to Sanctuary accompanied by Rahul SK on keyboard.

A flautist and saxophonist trained for years in both Hindustani and Carnatic flute, Dhenuka moves easily between raga, film music, and fusion, treating each note as something that can hold more than one tradition at once. She's performed across college and independent circuits, including opening for Tarana with Project DND, and taking first place at IIT Madras.

Seated, intimate, and built around a set that doesn't come around often in this city.
