About the event
Join us for the second edition of a brand-new reading society! Open to all with easy reads that leave you thinking (but just enough for one Sunday lol).
This month, we're reading Angela Davis’ essay: The Approaching Obsolence of Housework

Women have always worked, but they have not necessarily been compensated fairly for it. Now, in the 21st century, we see a rise of the girlboss and the tradwife, two sides of the same coin. How do we value these two women’s labour? How should we value their labour? What is the path forward?
Note: there is an affordable cover of buying at least one beverage (starts at 130) to participate. We've done this to keep the event accessible and beneficial to the venue who have been kind enough to let us host this!
Terms and Conditions:
By agreeing to join us, you're agreeing to the cover of buying one beverage. We are a progressive reading circle, hosted at a progressive venue. People from all genders, races, castes, religions, sexuality, and ages are welcome.
