About the event
Deep in the western hills of Tamil Nadu lies Kongunadu - a land of bold spices, ancient recipes, and a kitchen tradition that has fed war- riors, farmers, and families for centuries. It is not famous. It has never eeded to be. It simply feeds.
Most people have never heard of Kongu cuisine. After this evening, they will never forget it.
JOY's Table invites you to Kongu Kari Virundhu - an intimate feast from the heart of Kongunadu, served the way it was always meant to be. On a banana leaf. With your hands. Around a table of 12 strangers who will not leave as strangers.
The menu is rooted in the bold, rustic flavours of the region - slow- cooked country chicken, mutton sukka, fragrant Kongunadu white biryani, smoky eeral varuval, paruppu rasam, and a Karuppu Kavunni Arisi Payasam to close the evening. Every dish is cooked with intention. Every bite a conversation starter.
This is not a restaurant experience. This is a private home, a carefully curated table, and an evening designed to make you slow down, eat well, and connect with the people beside you.
12 seats. One evening you will not forget.
