About the event
Supper Club by Chef Sejal is an intimate, immersive dining experience with just 12 seats, where food becomes a way to travel, connect and experience a culture.
This time, we’re travelling to Ethiopia 🇪🇹
For this edition, Chef Sejal brings you a completely plant-based 4-course Ethiopian dining experience, inspired by the country’s rich food traditions, regional flavours and deeply rooted culture of sharing. This edition will be hosted at The Terrace by HeyBrewty, a beautiful open-air terrace founded by Swathi, our co-host for the evening. Surrounded by greenery and tucked away in a peaceful corner of Indiranagar, the space sets the perfect stage for the experience — with Swathi creating a beautiful, thoughtfully curated tablescape to bring Ethiopia to Bangalore.
The evening will begin with an interactive introduction to Ethiopia — think fascinating facts, stories, little cultural details and an icebreaker to get everyone at the table talking.
The first two courses will be plated, followed by a more abundant, shared third course featuring injera and Ethiopian stews, before finishing with dessert.
We’ll also be exploring one of Ethiopia’s most important cultural treasures — coffee. Known as the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia has a beautiful and fascinating coffee culture, and we’re bringing a little piece of that into the evening. How exactly? You’ll have to come to find out. ☕️
Alongside the food, expect drinks, nibbles, storytelling and little details that come together to create an evening that feels less like going out for dinner and more like stepping into another culture for a few hours. The menu is revealed at the table.
Come hungry, curious and ready to try something different, eat with your hands, learn a little, laugh a lot and share a table with people who might be strangers when you arrive — but hopefully won’t be by the time dessert is served.
12 seats. Four courses. One table. An evening in Ethiopia. 🇪🇹
