Five years ago, a song called Chaandni Raat found its listeners quietly, the way good songs usually do. This is the night we celebrate that.
Amlan brings an intimate evening of live music that is equal parts anniversary show and love letter to everyone who has kept his music close. He will be performing his own originals alongside covers he genuinely loves. Ghazals, Sufi-inflected pieces, indie favourites and the kind of Bollywood that makes you go "wait, I forgot how much I love this song."
The set flows mostly in Hindustani, with songs in Bangla and Assamese woven through naturally. Those are the languages he grew up with, moving between Assam and Meghalaya, before nearly a decade of living and making music in Delhi shaped him into the artist he is today.
This is not a background music situation. This is the kind of evening where your drink stays half-finished because you forgot to reach for it. Where you laugh at a terrible pun and then sit completely still for the next three minutes because something in the melody got you.
Seating is limited and very much on purpose. Tickets are ₹360 (A drink of your choice from Local Ferment Co)
These are the kind of evenings you'll find yourself talking about on the way home. Grab your tickets and bring someone you'd like to share that with.
