Lights, camera, scandal. This October, Book-A-Table invites you home for a little old Hollywood glamour, inspired by The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Over an intimate lunch for just 15 guests, we’re stepping into the glittering, complicated world of Evelyn Hugo, with a 1950s Hollywood-inspired afternoon of dramatic décor, themed drinks, a table laden with food drawn from the world of the book, and, of course, a proper Book-A-Table discussion. Come ready to talk about Evelyn, her seven husbands, the stories we tell the world, and the ones we keep for ourselves. And because it is October, there is one more rule: dress for the occasion. Think old Hollywood icons, movie stars, dramatic entrances and a little Halloween mischief. Costumes are our nod to the season, so consider this your excuse to arrive as someone (potentially) more glamorous than yourself. 24th & 25th October 2026
