About the event
There's a conversation you keep meaning to have. You already know which one.
Maybe it's the co-founder one. The one with a parent. Feedback you owe someone who works for you. The client relationship everyone can feel going sideways that nobody will name. You've drafted it in your head, probably more than once, picked a moment, let it pass, and told yourself there'd be a better one.
This is an afternoon spent on that specific conversation. Not conversations in general. The one you walk in carrying.
You will not have the conversation in this room. You'll work out why you haven't had it yet, and leave with a first sentence you could actually say.
This is perfect for you if:
There's a specific conversation, with a specific person, that you've been carrying for weeks or years.
You'd rather work on it than read about it.
You're fine being a bit uncomfortable for three hours among people you've never met.
This is not for you if:
You're after a relaxing Sunday, or you want a framework to apply later without doing anything today.
What's included:
Three and a half hours, fifteen people, two facilitators, coffee and refreshments, and everything you need to take part. No prep, no reading, nothing to bring.
What's not included:
Travel to the venue, lunch, and any obligation to share anything you don't want to.
Who's holding the Room:
Yash and Praveen. We've run rooms together for four years. Over 250 sessions, over two thousand people, most of them doing something like this for the first time.
We started this because we both kept noticing the same thing: the conversation someone needs to have is almost never the one they're prepared for. We're not therapists and we're not coaches. What we're good at is holding a room while people do something they'd rather not. That's the whole skill.
