Think: Terms & Conditions Apply

📅 Saturday, 25th July | 🕙 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 📍 Treehouse, Indiranagar

"I have read and agreed to the Terms & Conditions." But have you? Have any of us, really?

We all follow a set of invisible rules just to feel safe in public — texting someone when we get home, avoiding certain streets, sharing our live location, choosing where we sit in a cab. We never signed up for these terms, yet we follow them anyway, almost without noticing.

Think: Terms & Conditions Apply is an interactive workshop by Mudito, hosted as part of Think Collective Month by the Centre for Exponential Change, that turns these everyday safety habits into a real conversation. Together, we'll trace where these unwritten rules come from, who's expected to follow them, and how many of them have quietly become "features" in the apps and systems around us – SOS buttons, trip sharing, live location. We'll ask what these features assume about safety, who's still carrying the weight of staying safe even with them turned on, and what it might look like if safety were a starting design principle rather than something added on later.

No prior knowledge needed — just come ready to reflect, discuss, and question the systems we move through every day.
