About the event
Kintsugi Art Session — Broken is Beautiful ✨
What if, instead of hiding what is broken, we chose to highlight it with gold?
Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi and the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, this intimate 90-minute experience is an invitation to slow down, create with your hands, and explore a different way of looking at imperfections.
Kintsugi is traditionally the art of repairing broken pottery with gold—rather than disguising the cracks, it honours them as part of the object's story.
And perhaps there is something in that philosophy for us too. 🤍
At The Pause Project, we believe a pause doesn't always mean doing nothing. Sometimes it means giving yourself the space to create, reflect, connect and simply be present.
During this session, we will explore the philosophy behind Kintsugi and Wabi-Sabi before creating our own Kintsugi-inspired piece together.
