About the event
Pickle & Mingle is a pickleball meetup by Outliers for unusually ambitious young people in Bangalore. Founders, marketers and people from VC funds, all under age of 25, sharing the same courts for a few hours.
We open with a quick icebreaker so nobody starts cold. After that it's doubles, and partners rotate every game, so you'll end up playing with (and against) most of the people there. The breaks between games are where the real conversations happen: what you're building, what you're stuck on, who you should meet next.
Never played? Coaches will be on court to teach you the basics. Paddles and balls are provided, so just turn up in non-marking sports shoes. Chai Kaapi will keep the chai and coffee going all morning.
When the games wind down, we head up to the rooftop for food and longer conversations. Play a few games, talk to people you wouldn't usually meet, and leave with a couple of new names worth texting.

Who will be there?

Do I need to know how to play?
Not at all. Coaches will be on court to teach the basics and help you through your first games. Paddles and balls are provided, and partners rotate every game.
What should I wear and bring?
Sportswear and non-marking sports shoes. Leather or hard-sole shoes aren't allowed on court. Bring a water bottle if you like; drinking water is available.
What's the age limit?
16 and above. The event is designed for people under 25.
