Beyond the Cloth Bag
Welcome to a workshop on sustainable living for the cloth bag wielding ninjas.
Hi!
We're Rabbit Hole: workshops and more for the perpetually curious. We bring you interactive experiences where you go down the hole on one topic at a time.
This time, we've got Nikhil Sharma, a development and sustainability practitioner who helps people adapt to climate variability.
An APU alumnus and a climate activist, Nikhil spends his day job empowering urban and rural communities shape a more sustainable future. And when he's off the clock, he's one of the "bunch of cool kids saving a hot planet" (ifykyk).
🪴What to expect
After three hours, you'll climb out of the hole with:
- A personal sustainability audit of your own carbon footprint across consumption patterns.
- What steps can you take in your daily life to live more sustainably?
- An understanding of greenwashing. Have you been a victim?
- A deep dive into your investment patterns across FDs, mutual funds, and other investment instruments, where you could be making more carbon-conscious decisions.
- Insights into the impact of ripples - through RWAs, larger policy makers, and decisions at the ballot box.
Essentially, a realistic pathway to carbon-neutral living — built around your life, not someone else's ideal.
How you earn street cred
Through two structured activies we have planned for you. Both geared towards how well you can plot out the most sustainable chart with the problem statements given to you.
