About the event
“Be You,” said every self-promotional well-meaning positivity slogan ever.
But take 30seconds, and answer out loud:
Who is you?
How do you be you?
What makes you, you?
Being you is tricky. It changes. Sometimes without warning. Sometimes you may not notice that it’s changed.
Happiness, it goes, is the state of being when what you think, what you say, and what you do, all match up. What no one says is how to get there.
Writing has become my journey to myself. Clocking in over 100,000 words over the years with no audience, no Instagram, and no ChatGPT - I’ve built my path to authenticity.
This is for you:
● If you’re building/ rebuilding your relationship with you.
● If you’ve wanted to start writing, but haven’t yet beat the blank page.
● If you’re looking for the people looking for themselves, too.
Come with your empty notebook and favourite pen. We go analog - no screens, only what you can touch and feel.
In 2 hours, we will explore writing techniques to free up the mind, the heart, and get your words warmed up. Then we will write alone, in togetherness.
Facilitated by Ojasvi: part-time screen-worker, full-time people & nature lover, inveterate writer with no audience. Trying, moment by moment, to claw our collective attention back from the algorithm & rebuild our relationship with authenticity - starting with me, and you?
